Rocío Espinosa López-Cepero (1931 – 2023), known professionally as Laura Valenzuela ([ˈlawɾa βalenˈθwela]), or Laurita Valenzuela, was a Spanish television presenter, actress and model. She was one of the first television presenters in Spain appearing in the early broadcasts of Televisión Española (TVE). In 1969, she hosted the Eurovision Song Contest held in Madrid. Valenzuela received the Iris Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Spanish Television Academy in 2012.
Beautiful. I love it. It feels almost ancient. I like the Latin American pronunciation better, but the Spanish is also great. I know someone with this name who goes by Ro. It's also really nice paired with Ana (Ana Rocio, Rocio Ana).
Such a nice name. I prefer the Latin American pronunciation to the Spanish one, because it sounds so much more natural but the Spanish pronunciation is nice as well. Of all the Spanish names popular in the US, like Camila, Ariana, Emilia, Eva, Isabel, and Ana this one does not sound quite as frilly and is much less used and it has a nice o ending.

The name Rocio was given to 104 girls born in the US in 2015.
I love this name. It's one of my middle names, pronounced the Latin American way, and if I am ever blessed with a daughter in the future I would like to name her this.
I agree with the earlier poster; Rocío is a beautiful name. It sounds strong and dignified, but also charming - perfectly suited for a person of any age.
