Meaning & History
Rehabiah is a name of Biblical origin mentioned three times in the Hebrew scriptures as the ancestor of a group of Levites. In 1 Chronicles 23:17 he is identified as as the son of Eliezer who is the son of Moses. According to 1 Chronicles 24:21 he is the father of Isshiah yet in 1 Chronicles 26:25 he is the father of Jeshaiah. In Hebrew Rehabiah means ‘Breadth; or extent; of the Lord’.
