I really like Rakel. I prefer Rachela which is the usual variant of this name in my country, but I think Rakel is slightly nicer sounding compared with Rachel and Raquel, and also looks better than Raquel. Which isn't to say that I don't like Rachel or Raquel, I definitely do, just find Rakel a bit more attractive.

Jóhanna Rakel is an Icelandic rapper, formerly part of the Reykjavikurdatur (Daughters of Reykjavik) collective.

The standard Polish variant of this name is Rachela (and Rachel is a variant used by Jews) but in January of this year (2021) 4 women in Poland had the name Rakel as a first name. Two had it as a middle name. No babies were given this name.
