I don't like it. The name Robert is good, but I don't like any of its diminutives: Rob, Robbie, Rabbie, Rab, Bob, etc.

Rab is not pronounced quite "Rab", like Abby, but it isn't Rob. Sort of in the middle, little like "rahb".
