Quirina Alippi-Fabretti (1849 –1919) was an Italian painter. She was awarded a silver medal at a competition in Perugia on December 16, 1879; she became an honorary member of the Royal Academy in Urbino and of the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
I really like this name - it slightly reminds me of quinces, a kind of plum fruit thing, which isn't a bad thing I suppose. Also, despite this name being a Roman name, it sounds kind of futuristic and cool in my opinion. Really classy, I like it. :)
This is actually a really cool name. And I much prefer the pronunciation kwi-REEN-uh. Anyway bananarama, you are right, there aren't many good Q names out there--but this is one of the few.
