Pompeius

My first thought was the ancient city of Pompeii, which really needs no introduction. I'd wondered if the name of the city was related to Pompey the Great, but apparently they both just derive from the same root (Oscan / Sabellic word for "five," referring to five hamlets).

Pompeius is a bit much for real life, but honestly... better than Pompey.

This name looks too much like "pompous".
