Pentecoste

Greek Πεντηκοστή "the fiftieth Day", the Greek name of the Feast of Weeks, which in Christian traditions was celebrated as the feast commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles.

This name was usually given to children who were born or baptised on or near this feast.
