Paraskeva is also the Georgian form of the Late Greek name Παρασκευή (Paraskeve). It is written as პარასკევა in Georgian.It is no longer in use today, but it still survives in the Georgian surnames of პარასკებაშვილი (Paraskebashvili) and პარასკევაშვილი (Paraskevashvili).Also, just in case it might be of interest: the modern Georgian word for "Friday" is პარასკევი (paraskevi), which obviously comes from the same Greek root.Sources used:
