I personally don't care for it. I can only picture it on a child below the age of 7, or on a golden retriever. This is just how I hear it, but to me it sounds sort of diseased. I once heard of a poor baby called Remi Otis, and to me remiotis sounds like an infection.
Really don’t like this name because of the Milo And Otis association, just read the reviews of that movie and you’ll understand why it’s such a bad association...

I love the name Otis. I do believe it's great for a pet I also love it for a little boy. I don't know why this name intrigues me so much, but I do love it. I love the nickname Oats.
I love this name way too much. I especially love the idea of saddling a child with the type of name you would only really give livestock or a specific type of dog. And I don't mean that in a bad way; I absolutely ADORE old-fashioned, "old man" names. This one is adorable and, as I've said, I love it way too much.
Not to say it is a dog name or anything, but it is the name of my aunt and uncle's dog. He is a good dog.

I love this name, because it’s my cat’s name. We were wanting an “old man” style name, and Otis was just PERFECT! And he’s so cute! Well he still is a turd, but we love him!
