Bearers include the blessed Orsolina of Parma (1375-1410), an Italian virgin and visionary, also known as Ursulina; the 16th-century Italian noblewoman Orsolina della Penna, a mistress of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor; Orsolina "la Rossa", a peasant woman convicted of witchcraft at Modena in 1539; Italian poet and writer Orsolina Pace Mazzarese (b. 1907); and Italian papyrologist Orsolina Montevecchi (1911-2009).
