I hate this diminutive of Oliver. It looks like it should be short for Olivia, not Oliver, and then there's the association with that racist cultural appropriator Oli London.
This is my brother Oliver’s nickname, it is more unique than the common spelling “Ollie”. This spelling is just as good as the other unique nickname “Olly” I personally think the spelling “Ollie” is hell overused. Use this name or “Olly” instead. One annoying thing was when a teacher spelt my brothers nickname wrong and spelt it “Ollie”.

It's quite apparent I stan the Oliver name and every Oliver that graces me with their presence - which leads me to also love the nickname Oli which rhymes with Wally.
