I loovee the extra "h"! This is also my sister's name, coincidentally, Nora (w/o the "h"), a girl, bullied me! So, i just prefer the "Norah" w a "h"! Also, in my opinion, most names that end with "a" are ugly. (most, not all! There's actually a lot of names that end w an "a" I like/love) Nora also looks uncompleted and silly. Maybe it's just bc I was bullied by sm1 w that name that left a sour taste in my mouth about the name!

Norah Milanesi is a Cameroonian swimmer. She competed in the women's 50 metre freestyle at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
I much prefer Nora, it looks so much sweeter.Nora comes from Honora or Eleanor so I don't really see where the H comes from even though I have nothing against Norah.I just think it's unnecessary to add the H and it makes the name look more trendy and less old fashioned.I understand that Sarah etc. get spelled with an H because there is a letter in the Hebrew version that suggests an H but for Nora there is no such thing so it looks much better to me without the H.

Reminds me of the CBS evening news liar Norah O'Donnell.

I prefer Nora to Norah. It just looks better in my opinion.
Good name, but my only complaint is that at the end it is "ah" and ah sounds like a sigh. So sad for all the girls with this name...I like Nora better.

I really like this spelling of Nora. It looks more complete, somehow.

Nora in Polish means a lair of a small animal, like a fox or a rabbit. The implication here is that it's dim, dark, dirty and unhygienic... not something you'd expect in a pretty girl.
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist was actually a book first. If I remember correctly, Norah says that her name actually was Nora but she added the 'h' after her father didn't sign Norah Jones.

With this spelling, I always thought it was a Hebrew name. It sounds almost Biblical; I like it very much.
I love this name! It's so pretty, and although it's increasing in popularity, it isn't all that popular right now. For some reason, it seems to look more complete with the 'h' on the end, but I like Nora too.
I adore the name Norah. I used to hate it, but my name being Norah Margaret, I've grown accustomed to it. I think anyone who dislikes this name has little or no taste.

Norah was the name of the main female character in Mary Grant Bruce's Billabong books. I didn't like this name when I first heard it but it has grown on me.

Beautiful. Very WWII sounding, and it's better with the 'h' on the end.
My name is Norah Margaret, but I really don't like the Norah part of it. I want to be able to have a nickname other than "Noah." I hate when people mistake me for a Noah, because my friends start calling me that.

In Carol Shield's book "Unless," Norah is the eldest daughter who leaves her family and lives mute in the street with the sign "Goodness" around her neck. The character is quite powerful.
