I’ve liked this name ever since I came across it in a book when I was younger! Also I’ve always associated it with the name Nolan, I guess since they’re one letter off. Love this name, just sounds graceful and simple without being overly used.

Longer forms for Nola are Finola, Fionola and Manola.
I think of a sexy, blonde bombshell (not to be confused with a bimbo/slut) thanks to Scarlett Johansson's character from "Match Point". It's a fresh and intriguing name that I really quite like.

NOLA is the abbreviation for New Orleans, Louisiana. I can't help but think of the city whenever I encounter this name, but it does have a nice sound to it.
