Meaning & History

‘“Nis’ meaning ‘Sun or Moon’, and ‘shoku’ meaning “food” or “eclipse”

My father gave me this name meaning solar eclipse, to always remind myself to never settle for living in someone else’s shadow, but to stand in front and steal the show. As far as I know, this name is unique in Japanese culture. (Other kanji may be used to form this name)
