When I first saw this, thought it was a "youneek" version of Nanette.

Ninette is an opéra comique in three acts, with music by Charles Lecocq and words by Charles Clairville Jr, Eugène Hubert, G. Lebeaut and Ch. De Trogoff. It was first performed at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens, Paris, on 28 February 1896.
"Mademoiselle Ninette" is a song written and produced by Herbert Hildebrandt-Winhauer and originally performed by Soulful Dynamics. It was released in 1970, and became a number-one hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that year and was among the bestsellers for 30 weeks. More than half million copies were sold of the single. A cover by Michael Holm reached number two in South Africa.
Cute, and sweet-sounding, but the name seems kinda small to me. Nina is so close to niña, meaning "little girl" and ette is a suffix that means "little", the name seems like it has a very small meaning to me, and I worry if the name would grow well. Because a name with a very small meaning is fine for a baby, but not so much for an adult.
