Neilia Hunter Biden was the first wife of US 46th President Joe Biden. Her name was probably supposed to be a feminized form of her Fathers name, Neil. She was born on July 28th, 1942 in New York and met Joe in college. Neilia was an English teacher at a school. She helped Joe run his campaign for Senate in 1971 and was even described as the “brains” behind his campaign. She died on December 18th, 1972 along with her only daughter and youngest child, Amy Christina (Naomi) Biden in a car crash. It is suspected though not confirmed Neilia was with alcohol influence in the fatal crash. Possibly due to the fact she was stressed out with her husbands adultry with the babysitter (Which 5 years later would be his wife Jill Biden). Joe blamed it on Curtis C. Dunn when he was actually the man who saved them from the crash.
