Meaning & History

Nathy was a saint born at Luighne, Sligo, Ireland who became a disciple of St. Finnian of Clonnard. He was founder-abbot of a monastery, which is questioned by some in view of his surname. His cult was confirmed in 1903. His feast day is August 9.
