This is very rare as a Ukrainian alternate transcription because Nadiya (Надія) is pronounced nah-DYEE-yah. There is a stress on the i so it wouldn't make sense to not include it. It's usually transcripted as Nadiya or Nadia or Nadija in some countries.

I prefer this spelling. It's cooler and closer to the roth of the name plus I see no problems on the letter Y being used in Western European names.

WAY better than Nadia, this spelling is cooler, and more modern, and personally, I love modern names, as long as they are not too WILD.

Nadya looks much better then Nadia to me, because it looks less common and more interesting. I especially prefer this spelling to Nadiya as well.

I have a friend from Uzbekistan with this name, but she spells it Nadija, with the "j" making a "yuh" sound.
