In 2006 I was blessed with a beautiful little baby girl. My mother heard the name Nalani and we fell in love with that name. It is so beautiful and it just sounds so peaceful. Love you my beautiful Nalani...
Nalani is the name of one of the killer whales at SeaWorld. She has the dubious distinction of being the first surviving inbred captive killer whale - her mother Katina is also her grandmother, and her father Taku (son of Katina and Tilikum) was also her brother.
This is a really beautiful name, with a lovely meaning to match. I've always been a fan of Hawaiian names, but Nalani is one of the best I've come across.
