Well, my name is Myranda. It is pretty annoying having to correct people on the way it is spelled and then having them literally say my name in 2 parts example: "MY-RANDA" was probably the most frustrating annoying interactions of my life, but I still got a lot of compliments on my name and I now like my name being different as I'm older.

The spelling Myranda is used as a name on the TV series "Game of Thrones," based on the fantasy book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. She isn't a character in the books, but on the show she is the mistress of the sociopathic Ramsay Bolton - and in many ways is just as sadistic as he is.
