I love this name for a cat.

I don't hate it but it's boring imo.

I mean as long as the person's last name is not "Lester"...

It's a funny name.

People hate on the name Moe but they don't even know. Moe is my last name and let me tell you... it's f****** fantastic if you ask me. As far as someone dubbing their nickname "Moe" or "Mo" I don't much appreciate that. Being a Moe is only meant for Moe.

By the way, Moe is derived from the Netherlands, believed to be originated from Norway. My ancestors were Vikings! That's incredible if you ask me. The true adventures to first come to America. They were a bit savage, but they got s*** done! Also, there were a lot of farmers that worked dawn to dusk.

Moral of the story, you should be proud of your heritage and what impact it has for you. As far as Moe goes for the haters in society, I believe you can be entitled to your own opinion but there is no need to get your panties in a bunch. Moe from the Simpsons is pretty cool if you ask me.

Do what you want but talk about the history more than the fact that it reminds you of a comedy show. I thought laughter was good? Seems to me that's not the case.

The only thing I can think of when I hear the name Moe is Moe from the Three Stooges and the bartender from the Simpson's. I think it sounds too comedic.

I have a friend named Maurice who hates his name, he likes Moe better. I think it's a cool nickname but I wouldn't name my kid Moe.
