Milana

If you want to name your daughter Milan, why not just name her Milana instead? I still prefer Milena, though.

I used to be obsessed with this name when I was younger. Lol. Now I think it's alright, but I'd never use it.

For me, an Ukrainian, this name has always been ugly and pretentious. It has that fake and overstretched "Slavic" vibe and is too close to the name of Milan city - and I just can't bear naming children after geographical objects. When I hear it, I imagine a 10 year old spoiled (and probably fat) girl from a small town who almost never sees her father (because he works abroad on a really crappy job to feed his family) but has all the best toys and gadgets in her class. Sorry.

That was really rude for you to even think about or even put down. I have a friend who's name is Milana she is the most humble person ever! I actually really love this name it is elegant and pretty at the same time!

I think it's pretty and sweet. It's a nice alternative to the popular Mila.

I love Milan for a girl, but I don’t like it for a boy at all! Milan sounds feminine enough, Milana as a feminine form sounds and looks ugly. This name doesn’t need a feminine form. Milan is feminine the way it is!

Milana is becoming more used in Russia and it is a nice, soft name with a sweet meaning. I think I prefer this to Milena.

That right there is a beautiful name. If I ever become famous, my stage name will be Milana something. Beautiful.
