Oh great, it has a pointless punctuation now. If the name isn't the misspelling of Michael, and is terrible too, it needs an useless punctuation just to make it 10x times worse. Why freaking not?
Jim, do you understand that other languages exist? The Scottish ì indicates a longer i (ee) sound. It's not pointless in Scottish. The a and e are switched because of Scottish pronunciation rules. It's not a misspell of Michael.
