I'm a Meagan, and agree with others that people try to pronounce it "Mee-gan" too much, which is both annoying and baffling. "Megan" is such a common name with a large variety of spellings and "Mee-gan" is absolutely not. That being said, despite the annoyance, like most Meagan's, Megan's, Meghan's and such, I don't take it personally and just laugh alongside people when they try to figure out how to say my name. I do wish it was spelled without that extra "A." As far as the name itself, regardless of spellings, I have never met a Meagan (etc.) that wasn't genuinely nice, strong, cute, capable, and just overall likeable. I guess some people don't like the name, but some people don't like a lot of things. Lol.
My name is Maegan and while my parents called me (Maygen), everyone else (friends and family) call me Megan. And I prefer it that way because my middle name is Rae and I think it sounds too country that way.
My name is Meagan and as I child I hated it because I thought it was very plain and normal, but now that I am older I have grown to love it and a lot of people think it is a very beautiful name. I also appreciate that it is spelled with the ea rather than just the e like normal Megan. I also think Maegan is a beautiful way of spelling the name.

Love this spelling and would pronounce it "MAY-gan."
Also pronounced May - Gan. I know because this is my name. I hate it because everyone pronounces it Mee - Gan, even when you tell them it's May - Gan. I often get called MEG -an, and it gets annoying.
This is my first name (pronounced MEG-an), and while I didn't like when I was younger and wasn't able to find novelty things with the right spelling, I quite like it now.Plus, when I was a toddler, I told my mother that I knew why she had named me that - I was just like her, so "Me, again!"
I'm not super fond of this spelling of "Megan". While I do like the name and know how it's intended to be pronounced I feel that this spelling suggests either Meegan, me-AG-an or ME-agan. But it's a pretty name and the spelling could be worse, I guess.

My middle name is Meagan, but it is pronounced MEE-GAN not MAY-GAN or ME-GAN. I'm 37 years old and before I was born there was a song by Blood, Sweat and Tears called "Meagan's Gypsy Eyes" and they pronounced it MEE-GAN in the song so that's what my mom chose. I like it pronounced MEE-GAN, it seem a little more uncommon that way.
My legal name is Meagan, pronounced may-gan, and I absolutely hate it. It feels very traditional and small-town to me, and I can't imagine anyone ever calling me that. It's not a bad name, just not right for me. I think it's more suited to a middle-aged PTA mom than her child.
I like to be different so when I had my daughter some 15 years ago I spelled her name Meagan. It is pronounced M(long/capital A)gan. Some people mistakenly pronounce it with a long e sound. Meeeeegan is not the way it was intended. It can confuse some people because of the "ea" English rule.
Hi, my name is Meagan. I think that Meagan is actually a pretty cool name. I think that there are too many different spellings of Meagan though. There could be Meagan, Megan, Meaghan, Meghan, etc. Sometimes I get mad when so many people spell my name wrong. I think that there should only be one spelling of Meagan because otherwise it gets too confusing, people never spell it right. But I do think that Meagan is a really nice name. I'm quite glad that is what my parents decided to name me. Another thing that I like about it is that people can give you nicknames ex. Meg, Meggy, etc. I like having nicknames like that. All in all, I think Meagan is an awesome name.
