Marty

I used to like this name when I was younger and I really don’t know why.

My cousin Marshall goes by the nickname Marty. And my other cousin Martin also goes by the nickname Marty. And my Aunt Martha also goes by the nickname Marti. It gets kind of confusing during family parties. But I do like the name; I think it sounds friendly and down-to-earth.

I like Marty. I think it would sound adorable on a little boy :) If I have a second son, I'm going to call him Martin. Maybe I'll use Marty as a nickname.

My name is Marty, it isn't short for Martin. My name is one of the most individual names of the time. People I know call me Mart, for short. And it was my dad's name who died when I was little.

My mom spells it Marti, with an 'i' and uses it as a short form of Martha because she didn't like getting teased growing up about being Martha Washington.
