Marty Wilde is an English singer and songwriter. He was among the first generation of British pop stars to emulate American rock and roll, and is the father of pop singers Ricky, Kim and Roxanne Wilde.

This was the name of the title character in the 1955 film "Marty", Marty Piletti. In the film, Marty Piletti was portrayed by Ernest Borgnine, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the role. The film was also successful, winning 4 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
