Pronounced Pron. MAH-ROHN  [key]

Meaning & History

This name technically doesn't have a meaning since it is often written in phonetic characters, but it does coincide with the katakana transcription of the marron plant. It also could be spelled with 舞 (ma) meaning "dance" and 栄 (ron) meaning "flourish, prosper, honour, glory". Other kanji combinations are possible.

This name is very rarely given to girls, if given at all.
