I've loved Marian for a long time - mainly due to my fondness for the legend of Robin Hood. It's such a pretty name without being too frilly.

Marian is my best friend's name and she isn't really sure if she likes it, but I personally like the name. It has a pretty and calm and kind of overall feminine suond to it, all graceful and such (mind you, I'm describing the name, not my friend xD).
