Simple to pronounce, but it's very common where I live. Although I prefer Lina as a legal name rather than nickname, it can be a nickname depending on what anyone wants.
It's nice as a nickname. I knew a girl named Angelina who went by Lina. It seems kind of minimalist as a legal name, though.

LEE - nuh is a wonderful name. However, it's just so hard to spell. I have a friend with this name, but it's spelled Leina. I love that spelling, but people call her Layna. Lena looks like len - nuh. I like Lina, but it could just as easily be pronounced Lynn - nuh, or Lyne - nuh. Leena just looks bad. Leana should be pronounced Lee - ann - nuh, or lee - auh - nuh, and while I like Liyna, no one else does. Lina and Leina are the best spellings. Please choose between them.
I like this name. It's not very common. I knew an Italian girl and a Spanish girl with this name.

This name is very beautiful. But it also seems childish to me. It also reminds me of limes for some reason.

I think Lina is a beautiful name, but only pronounced LIE-na. LEE-na is okay, but LIE-na is better. It is especially good as a short form of Caroline, Carolina, Adeline, Adelina, Madeline, and other names ending in -line or -Lina.

Lina is an elegant name! Another (perhaps even more intriguing and more unusual) version of the same name is Linna.

I love this name! It's so sweet and cute but still won't outgrow a little girl. I really would use this name! :D
