I love my name Leticia, the best thing is that I like to use my name in different ways. So if I speak to people who speak Spanish I use Letty, when I use my name professionally I use Leticia and when I'm chilling with my hood friends I go by LeTISHA and with family it's Tisha. It's funny when I tell people my name. They be like, "That's your name? Ya, you look like a Letisha." I would not change it for the world. I love my name and the true meaning and history of it.
I think it's a nice name but I've only ever heard it pronounced L-tee-shuh. I'm English, so that's how it sounds over here.

My name is Leticia, born in Argentina, where it is not a very common name. Since living in the USA for the past 40 years I have found that it is a fairly common name in Mexico. Some Americans who hear my name and write to me spell it as Latisha. The current queen of Spain's name should have been Leticia (Spanish spelling), however, the city clerk who registered her name was Italian and he used the Italian spelling Letizia.
My name is Leticia, I pronounce it La-TE-cee-ah. I'm actually Native American, but many people assume I am Mexican at first. It get's quite annoying when people say it La-tish-ah but I really love my name. All my siblings have pretty normal names yet mine is unique so it makes me feel special.
I was either going to be Leticia or Sharlene and my parents chose Sharlene. In a way I wished they chose Leticia because it has great features such as it's three dimensional, sexy, beautiful, elegant and very classic.
