I think Leonardo is a strong, handsome, timeless name. It is classy and modern at the same time, and it ages with flawless grace. I love “Leo” for a nickname, and I appreciate the association with the charming DiCaprio. Overall, I think Leonardo is a great name.
I like Leonardo but I feel like it would be best for an Italian or Spanish guy. I personally wouldn't use it. It's just a little too fancy for my taste. I love Leo though!

If one were to choose which male Le- name it is, and if the options are Leonard, Leonardo, or Lennox, I think Leonardo, thanks to its historical contributors such as the great and revolutionary genius Leonardo da Vinci, will always triumph over the standard Leonard as well as the meaningless and stale Lennox, which is best never to be used as a given name in modern times.
This is a strong, elegant, handsome and fantastic name. :)

I like this name because I've always liked da Vinci's paintings. However, I don't like the association with the highly overrated actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
