This day and age you would probably be made fun of for having a name close to the spelling of the word "Lemon." However I do like the name and have never heard of it before now.
Henry Lemoine was a French piano teacher, publisher and composer. He was born in 1776 and died in 1854.

I grew up on Lemoyne Street in my town. Yeah... I would *never* curse someone with this name.

Maybe pretentious isn't the right word- the bearer/person who named him wouldn't feel smug or brag about it. But it does sound silly and it doesn't have any history behind it.
