Lakisha is my name and I have never had any problems with getting a job. A lot of employers have actually told me my name is pretty.

I'm black myself and I think LaKisha is a tacky thing to name your kid. It seems to be popular as the name of contestants on talk shows like Maury and Jerry Springer. Really, these ghetto names actually receive fewer callbacks from job interviews since they expect a LaKisha to be ghetto. And then there's LaQuisha, the "go-to" name for ghetto girls in comedy routines, which is even worse.
