Meaning & History
From Japanese 杏 (kyou) meaning "apricot" combined with 輔 (suke) meaning "help". Other kanji combinations are possible. Famous bearers are Kyousuke Himuro, a Japanese singer. He was a member of the rock group Boøwy from 1981 to 1988 and Kyousuke Ikeda, a Japanese actor and seiyū who is affiliated with Gekidan Nihonjido.
