Kumara in Maori (native language of New Zealand) means sweet potato. In New Zealand English, kumara is used instead of sweet potato in everyday language.
The title "Rajkumar" was often given to princes in many parts of India.
In the Finnish language the word "Kumara" means "bowed" or "bent". But this, of course, has nothing to do with the etymology of the name.
