Hey, my name is Kristiina. I don't know much of the origin of my name but i noticed that comment of Queen of Sweden. One trusted person of my family who does Family tree research found a connection between me and Sweden. My 16th cousin is said to be a previous ruler of Sweden, king or queen, I'm not sure which.
I personally prefer the spelling Kristina, however I still like Kristiina better than Christina. It may look a little tacky if you name your child this if you do not happen to be Finnish yourself. Only because some people love accusing others of trying too hard to be unique.

Kristiina I of Sweden (18 December [O.S. 8 December] 1626 – 19 April 1689), Countess Dohna, was Queen regnant of Sweden from 1632 to 1654. She was the only surviving legitimate child of King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden and his wife Maria Eleonora of Brandenburg.
