216 Kleopatra is a large M-type asteroid with a mean diameter of 120 kilometers (75 miles) and is noted for its elongate bone or dumbbell shape. It was discovered on 10 April 1880 by Austrian astronomer Johann Palisa at the Austrian Naval Pola Observatory, in what is now Pula, Croatia, and was named after Cleopatra, the famous Egyptian queen. It has two small minor-planet moons which were discovered in 2008 and later named Alexhelios and Cleoselene.
Kleopatra is a Danish-language opera by August Enna to a libretto by Einar Christiansen based on the 1889 novel by H. Rider Haggard. The opera premiered in the Royal Theatre in 1895 and was performed around 20 times. In German translation, the opera was performed in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Wroclaw, Riga, Zurich, Antwerp, Rotterdam and The Hague; In 1897, the opera ran for 50 performances in the opera house in Amsterdam.The opera tells the story of Prince Harmaki, who enters Queen Cleopatra's palace in order to murder her. His objective is regain power from the Romans.
Cleopatra Pantazi (Greek: Κλεοπάτρα Πανταζή; also spelled Kleopátra; Greek: Κλεοπάτρα) is a Greek singer. She is best-known for having represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 in Sweden.
Christos Lagos composed the song "Olou Tou Kosmou I Elpida" (Everyone's Hope) for her. Cleopatra scored 94 points and reached the fifth place, one of the best places a Greek song has ever reached in the Contest. She worked with the musician Mimis Plessas, and she sang a duet with the rock/laiko idol Stelios Rokkos, entitled "Na M'Agapas" ("Love Me").
