This intriguingly attractive name was not uncommon in the English West Country during the 1830s, online baptismal records show. It seems to have been used by members of the breakaway Methodist sect called Bible Christians, but was by no means restricted to them.

I've only ever heard this pronounced as KEZ-ee-ah (or KEZ-ya by some people/accents). I find that much nicer than the listed pronunciation of ke-ZIE-ah though, which sounds a bit masculine to me!

I really like this name. I sounds exotic, fun, quirky. Very unique.
