A notable bearer is actress Keala Settle (b. 1975). Settle began in musical theatre; she has performed major roles in "Hairspray", "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert", "Les Miserables", "Waitress", and "Hands on a Hardbody", for which she received a Tony Award nomination. More recently, Settle has branched into mainstream.
