Apparently the “k” bothers people, but you have to understand that “C” in a lot of Slavic languages is pronounced like an S. So it wouldn’t be Ka-mil-la it would be Sa-mil-la if it started with a c.

Kamilla Aliyeva is an Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World 3 ribbons + 2 balls bronze medalist and 2022 European group All-Around, 5 hoops and 3 ribbons and 2 balls bronze medalist.
Also:Usage: Finnish, German, English (Modern, Rare)Pronunciation: KAW-meel-law (Hungarian), ka-MEH-la (Danish), ka-MEEL-la (Swedish), KAH-meel-lah (Finnish), kə-MIL-ə (English)Meaning: Form of CAMILLA used in several languages.
I really like Kamilla instead of Camilla in countries where a K at the beginning of a name really is common (Hungary, Germany etc.), but in the U.S. or GB it would seem so "kreatyve" if I met a girl called Kamilla instead of Camilla.
