Georgian form of Kay Khosrow, which is the name of a legendary king from the 10th-century Persian epic Shahnameh written by the poet Ferdowsi.This name was borne by several Georgian princes, most of which were from the House of Gurieli. Another notable bearer was the Georgian poet Kaikhosro "Kakutsa" Choloqashvili (died in 1613).
