Juliano is a handsome name, strong, and unique. I prefer the Italian/English pronunciation. I already have sons Lorenzo & Giovanni, so this variant of Giuliano will prevent matching initials. The letter J isn’t in the Italian language, but still Italians have taken a liking to the J spelling, it is pretty.
Very cool name. Juliano sounds very strong and sophisticated, and it has a nice romantic charm about it; dreamy, I guess you could say. Although I believe the Spanish pronunciation would probably be “hoo-lee-on-oh”, I would probably pronounce it as “Jul-ee-on-oh”, if he were my son. I think both pronunciations sound really nice though. I also like that it's not a ridiculously popular name, therefore it offers a better sense of individuality. I like its variants too, including Julio and Julian/Julien, and I love the feminine version of the name, Juliana, too. Overall, I think Juliano is a really awesome name, and you should definitely be proud of it if it's yours ;)
