I have liked this name since Bobby Sherman played Jeremy Bolt on the 1960's TV show Here Come the Brides. It made Bobby Sherman an instant teen heartthrob/idol and the name Jeremy popular when the preteens and young teen girls who drooled over him grew up and had children. It was not a popular name in the 60's but became more common in the 70's and 80's.
