The name Jenna is quite known for girls in my generation, and I’ve always loved it; it’s short, sweet, and simple. The name Jennifer is one of my favorite names, but I also love Jenna; it’s a very no-nonsense name. I wish that it were still common, but being unique is fun. Go for it, if you’re considering the name Jenna for your little girl.
I remember this being an extremely common name in my high school around the early 2000's. For that reason it feels dated to me, but I do like the name. Maybe it is not so common right now because of how many of us from that time period remember all the Jennas lol.
My name is Jenna and I love this name. It reminds me of a kind, popular, lady. The name sounds good and reminds me of Jenna from Balto. It's okay if you don't like this name, but I really do.
I think that this is a very sweet name, it makes me think of a funny and loud but introverted girl, it's a fun and cute name on its own, rather then the nickname for Jennifer, but I also think it makes a cute nickname.
A very pretty and under-appreciated name. Not one you see very often so it’s quite refreshing to meet someone with it. Been in my top ten for as long as I can remember.
I have an aunt Jennifer and my mom's best friend in college was named Jennifer, but she just didn't wanna call me Jennifer, so she decided on Jenna. I haven't met too too many Jenna's, but from those I have met, you can't place them all under one umbrella. Also, I like to say that the movie 13 Going on 30 is about me because the main character's name is Jenna and her birthday is May 26th, which is also my birthday.

I'm a Jennifer who goes by Jenna. I really disliked the name Jennifer when I was younger, because it was so common, and hated when people called me Jenny. A friend of mine nicknamed me Jenna when I was 12 years old and it stuck. I've been Jenna ever since. I plan on getting it legally changed soon! It's a very pretty name in my opinion, but of course I may be a bit biased.
Jenna is an updated, more modern version of Jennifer.

This name seems unfinished. Like a nickname for Jennifer or perhaps it needs to be hyphenated like Jenna-May or Jenna-Lynn. I don't know. It just needs something in my estimation.

I have been a Jenna for more then 39 years. I am not trying to be conceited, but the name is awesome and I just like most Jenna's, inside and out. My mother got it from a movie in the 70's called Sand Castle. I have never watched it but that is how I became who I am. My name is Jenna Lynn which I feel goes well together. I love it and wouldn't change it for the world.
In my humble opinion, the name "Jenna" is a rather striking one out of the bunch. To my knowledge, all the Jenna's that I am aware of are absolutely beautiful. But you see- here's my problem. The universe blessed me with a growing healthy fetus, 3 pounds must I add, and I have this burning desire to name her Jenna. I feel as though this could guarantee the definite grace and beauty of my unborn child. But despite my urge, I am petrified as well as deadly worried that I will get jinxed and as some would say cursed dare I say "played" by the world. I am terrified that once I decide to name my child "Jenna" it will turn out ugly and ruin the names legacy. What would one do if they were blessed with such a gift yet damned by such luck...
Jenna is such a pretty, refreshing name! It seems so underused to me! I found out about this name from knowing about actress Jenna Coleman. :)

My Mom and Dad didn't know what to name me until they saw me in the hospital. The doctor asked what my name was. Then they looked at each other and said "Jenna". I really like the name because it's so beautiful and unique. It is very delicate, and it's a wonderful name for a girl.
This is the name my mother gave me... She was a very shallow person, and I never really looked up to her. She left me, my father and my brother at age 3. (I am now 18, I am of Irish genes, and I have blonde hair and hazel eyes.) I never knew this name had an arabic meaning. Until my boyfriend told me. (He's arabic, yes.) I think this is beautiful because the meaning of my name, is basically paradise. The meaning of his, (Bharat) Means to be maintained. Our names make a beautiful statement that I will never forget. Paradise Being Maintained.
Jenna is simply one of the most beautiful, feminine names. This is my top pick for a daughter; Jenna Mary. I've only ever met 2 Jennas and I just love it. It's so much prettier than Jennifer or Jenny. It's also unlikely that you'd get a nickname (other than Jen, which I'm not a fan of)... Jenna is a wonderful name.
My name is Jenna and I do really love my name. The only thing I don't like is that some people think I am saying Gemma when I tell them my name. But other than that, I have no complaints as it is a pretty name.
I am not crazy about the name Jennifer, but I love the name Jenna. Its really pretty. I mostly hear Jennifer's going by Jenn or Jenny. I have only come across a few who go by Jenna or are named Jenna.
Jenna is such a nice name. The name and the meaning of it is beautiful. However, I wouldn't name a child this because a famous girl called Jenna Rose ruined it. She is setting up a bad example for kids.
I like the name Jenna, it's pretty, yes, but it is overused. Not to mention I know a girl named Jenna who's an annoying, spoiled brat. I know it's not right to think a name's stupid because of a person who has it, but I'm sorry.
I enjoy the name to a degree. My cousin is named that. I wouldn't name my own child that, but in the book I am writing, this name is used for the main character, except it is spelled 'Genna', which I cannot find anywhere.
This is my name. I don't dislike it, I guess, but I don't really love it either. Everyone always thinks my "real" name is Jennifer (Even one of my friends thought that for two years) and I can never find anything with my name on it. It also just strikes me as kind of modern and I don't think it really suits me. It's not overly common where I live, though, so I only have one other Jenna in my grade.

Jenna is a VERY common name. I know about seven people who are called that, and they are all brats. I hate the name Jenna, it's so ugly and common, there's nothing special about it at all. PLEASE if your name is Jennifer DON'T use Jenna as your nickname. It's the worst name I've ever heard!

My name is Jennifer as well. My name has really been bothering me lately, mainly because it is too popular. I would go by Jen or Jenny. But I'm not too fond of those names (no offense, but all the Jennifers I know use those nicknames as well). 'Im trying to go by Jenna now. Jenna is not too popular, it's still mature and I like it! (:Pretty name, by the way! XDD

My name is actually Jennifer, but because of the overuse of it I started using Jenna (can't stand "Jenny") while in my teens. Now, only family members call me Jennifer. Everyone else calls me Jenna. :)

I adore this name almost as much as Emma. Emma and Jenna are somewhat rhyming names. I have problems finding girl J names. Jennifer is too common, and Jenna isn't exactly fresh sounding, but I feel Jenna could be usable for a modern child.
I've met a few Jenna's but still really like the name. I like it a lot more than Gemma, but like it equally to Emma. At work there was a Jenna with me. It was a little confusing because we never knew if our boss was saying Jenna or Emma lol.
I'm a Jenna, and I love the name. It's not common, at least not where I'm from. I've only met one person who has the same name, my English teacher's 5 year old daughter. I always get compliments on it because it's not a name you hear every day. People tend to assume it's just short for Jennifer. That's the only thing I don't like about it.
My name is Jenna! I like the name and I think it's super pretty but I always get asked if my name is Jennifer or Jenny. I guess that's the only real downside.
My name is Jenna and I'm 15. I've always liked it. It really defines me. My mum hadn't known what to name me until I was in her arms in the hospital and the name just came to her. I don't know anyone else with the name apart from people in films and celebrates. I don't like names such as Jeanna and Brenna. It makes my name seem horrible.
Just because you knew someone with the name of Jenna who was a brat or it's "too popular" for you doesn't make it an awful name! By the way, there are not that many Jennas out there and it's a really pretty name!

I love this name of course, as it is my own (only I spell it with one n). I also have a friend named Jenna who is really nice and sweet. I think it's pretty and different than everything else out there.

I don't know why, but it reminds me of South Africa.
My name is Jenna, and my mother named it me because it was a girly name, and different to Jenny. Needless to say, I've become I rebel, and I'm not at all girly, I listen to rock music, and heavy metal, and I'm kind of gothic. There's only one other girl in the whole school called Jenna, and she's in my year, and my form, so that's a coincidence. I find that I can never find anything like jewellery with my name on it. I think it's a rare name.

I would have to say Jenna is a very normal or common name. I've had lots of problems with the girl name Jenna so I would probably never name my child that. But that's just me, so bye.

My name is Jenna, and I find that I really like it. No one in my grade has the same name as me and I think it's really pretty. I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything, but I really like my name.
This name has been tarnished for me forever by a bratty 10-year-old of the same name. I have always liked Jenny better, though. Jenna is becoming too popular, in my opinion.
My name is Jenna, and though I have never thought it was anything special, I find that I get so many compliments on it, like "wow what a pretty name". I had someone tell me today they were going to name their daughter Jenna!

My name is Jenna, yet to me, the name Jenna is rather dull and doesn't describe me much.
Isn't that the most beautiful name for a little girl? And the meaning is wonderful. I just love it. And if you see my little girl JENNA, you will believe that it is just gorgeous.
