Many names ending in -ella are nice, but this isn't really one of them. I just don't like the harsh beginning, whereas names like Estella and Mariella have a soft type of sound. However, at least this name doesn't sound like a pseudo-French attempt at glamour and elegance by lower middle class parents like Janelle does.
