Like always, I can't find a single name derived from James that's good enough for me. Jamey is so weak and common with a too soft and sweet sound; for a girl it is a perfect name, but for a man it sounds strange to my ears; that's my opinion. The nicknames derived from Jacob, that's in fact the original version of James, are much better than the ones derived from James.
