Jacinthe Larivière is a Canadian former pair skater. With Lenny Faustino, she is the 2001 Nebelhorn Trophy champion and 2003 Canadian national champion. They were coached by Lee Barkell in Barrie, Ontario.

Hello, my name is Jacinthe, French pronunciation. My parents couldn't agree on a name for me, so they put a few names in a hat and drew Manon 3 times. My father said no. On the fourth attempt, voilà Jacinthe was picked. I was bullied and made fun of because of my name. As I got older I've come to love and appreciate my name. It's unique.

This is my mother's name and as an American she pronounces it Jess-aint, while her father pronounced it Ja-cent (you have to imagine the strong French accent on the "j"). I don't know if either was the proper way to say it, but the second one sounds good to me. (She always preferred Jessie.)
