From Sino-Korean 惠 "favor, confer kindness", 蕙 "orchid" or 慧 "bright, intelligent" (hye) and 慶 "congratulate" or 敬 "respect" (gyeong).A famous bearer is Lady Hyegyeong (1735-1816), the wife of Crown Prince Sado and mother of King Jeongjo of Joseon.
