This name is way too controversial for political reasons. Why give your kid a politically controversial name? Why limit your kid if they leave the country or encounter someone from say Serbia they want to be friends with? It is a name that puts up walls where they simply don't need to be.
Raul04, it's like if you were French, you would be called François. Don't know about being Spanish :)

The pronunciation is HR-voy-eh (trilled r, like HER-voy-eh). In Croatian and other Slavic languages r is a vowel in some words: smrt, Hrvatska, Srbija etc... H is pronounced as in Scottish "loch".
