Marie Hoa Chevallier, a Frenchwoman of Vietnamese descent, is a member of the Monegasque extended royal family. She is married to Louis Ducruet, who is the son of Princess Stephanie and he is 15th in line to the Monegasque throne.
Hoa is also used as a masculine name in Vietnamese. However, it's more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine".Source: https://forebears.io/forenames/hoa
The real Sino-Vietnamese character is 花 for Hoa. [noted -ed]

Agree with the above user: the character currently referenced is the one for "peace."

This name is one of the most common I hear here in Vietnam. Seems every girl has Hoa somewhere in her name. I have never liked it on it's own, but with other Vietnamese names, like Thuy, it can sound nice.

Hòa means "peace" in Vietnamese. The accent is pronounced lower in tone.
